Starting a new job, or your employer has asked for a medical? A nurse completes your health history and measurements, then our Nurse Practitioner examines you and completes the employer’s form. TB testing and N95 fit testing can be done in the same week.
What the visit includes
- Health and medication history, vital signs, vision and other measurements the form asks for
- Nurse Practitioner examination based on the written job demands
- One standard employer form completed
- A fitness statement for your employer; your detailed health information stays with you and us unless you consent to share it
Often booked together
- TB skin test: one-step $45 or two-step $90
- N95 fit test: $65 + HST
- Immunization-record review and vaccines, where required
- Driver’s medical (MTO) for commercial licences
A typical week with a one-step TB test: test placed Monday, then Wednesday for the reading, fit test and physical. Forms are completed once results are in.
